This successful company is the exclusive UK distributor for Europe's leading manufacturers of industrial-scale digital printing and finishing equipment. They supply, install, commission, and maintain large-format machines for clients such as Amazon and Next, enabling them to transform a reel of paper into a fully finished magazine or other desired products in a single, continuous, high-volume process.
The Job
As an electrically biased Field Service Engineer, you will:
• Attend on-site service calls to customers across the UK
• Perform electrical fault finding and repairs on equipment
• Perform software upgrades
• Install and commission equipment on-site
• Train users on machine operation
• Conduct site surveys
About You
As an experienced electrical field service engineer, you should have a good mix of the following skills and experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs and inverters
• Formal electrical qualifications
• Previous field service experience working on electromechanical machines
• Full UK driving licence
• Be flexible to travel the UK with overnight stays when necessary
