Summary

Are you a compassionate and experienced nurse ready to lead and coordinate high-quality palliative care services for children and young people? Join our dedicated team at East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) as a Care Manager at our Treehouse hospice.

As a Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of outstanding palliative care services. Working alongside another Care Manager and reporting to the Service Manager, you will lead a team of Team Leaders and care professionals to ensure the highest standards of care and support for children, young people, and their families.


Are you:
• A Registered Nurse (Child) or equivalent with experience in children’s palliative care.
• An excellent communicator and problem-solver.
• Organised with strong time management skills.

Do you have:
• Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance and safeguarding.
• A current full, valid driving license and access to transport.

Responsibilities include:
• Oversee the delivery of care services and manage daily operations.
• Lead and support Team Leaders and care coordination teams.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and contribute to service development.
• Manage rotas, on-call arrangements, and resource allocation.
• Support recruitment, induction, and staff development.
• Collaborate with external partners and represent EACH at key meetings.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and safeguarding processes.
