Guests are invited to unwind, relax and escape in the modern, luxurious surroundings of our five star spa. One Spa features a 19m Swimming Pool, warm water rooftop Hydropool and Thermal Suite with an unrivalled selection of salt, water and heat experiences, including a Crystal Steam Room and Dry Salt Room. Our expert therapists offer calming body and facial treatments that are bespoke to each guest, and designed to re-energise and rebalance body and mind.
One Spa, part of the five-star Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa in Edinburgh has an opportunity for a Spa Treatments Manager who will lead our treatment side of One Spa, from therapists to brand partner liaison and everything else in between.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead the therapy team and manage their training and development.
- Ensure smooth running of the treatment department and maintain high standards.
- Operational Procedures:
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and H&S objectives.
- Implement operational procedures and codes of conduct on the therapy floor.
- Recruitment and Team Support:
- Recruit, train, and support therapists and wider Spa team members.
- Maintain a motivated team and ensure high standards of treatments, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
- Revenue Growth and Performance:
- Chart and report on KPIs and industry trends to drive revenue growth and hit targets.
- Monitor and adjust strategies to achieve departmental revenue objectives.
- Strategic Planning and Budgeting:
- Assist the Spa Director in developing and implementing the budget and departmental strategy.
- Contribute to the development of marketing objectives and initiatives.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other managers in the Spa and wider hotel to support overall business goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
- Perform Duty Management shifts as required.
- Contribute to the achievement of the hotel's "proud associates, happy guests, thriving business" goal.
You must be qualified in Beauty Therapy to one of the following: NVQ Level 3, ITEC, City & Guilds or CIDESCO or equivalent. ESPA training is an advantage but not essential. Industry experience is preferred as you will be called upon to perform some treatments when required.
40 Hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including weekends.
