Summary
Greet patients and visitors in a polite and welcoming manner. Answer telephone calls promptly and efficiently, booking appointments and handling general inquiries. Process patient check-ins and update records using clinical software Manage repeat prescription requests in line with practice protocols. Ensure the reception area is kept tidy and confidential at all times. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Liaise with GPs, nurses, and administrative staff to support the smooth running of the surgery.
