Summary
Establish and maintain communication with staff and patients on routine operational matters and overcoming any differences in communication between those involved. Development your own skills and knowledge and provide information to others to help their development. Monitor and maintain Health & Safety & Security. Contribute to Service Development, Quality Improvements and take an active role in Safecare (Clinical Governance) activities. Support Lead Radiographer in improving quality of service whilst working towards the Imaging Services Accreditation Scheme. To be flexible and supportive of the changes within the Radiology Department that is in response to Local and National Modernisation Agendas for example seven day working Support peoples Equal Diversity and Rights. Assist in monitoring and protecting groups and individuals whose health & well-being may be at risk with respect to radiation safety. Plan, monitor and evaluate the movement of people and goods. Input and process patient data, when required. Adaptation of skills and knowledge along side technological advancements are essential to service developments and improvements, which enhance overall patient care.
