Your new role
As a Stores Administrator your role will involve:
- Verify items and quantities against purchase orders and supplier delivery notes.
- Book all items into stock using Sage 200 Manufacturing system.
- Allocate goods to designated store locations.
- Record stock adjustments and movements in/out of stores.
- Assign new stock codes and location identifiers.
- Monitor and manage kan-ban stock replenishments and overflow areas.
- Participate in quality audits related to stores operations.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and shipments.
- Coordinate imports, exports, and shipments via air, sea, and land freight.
- Book deliveries using various courier systems.
- Generate and verify shipping documentation.
- Apply correct INCO terms to all shipments.
- Provide customs import clearance instructions to agents.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with customers via email and phone to support smooth import/export processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in stores and logistics administration.
- Strong organisational and methodical approach to work.
- Proficiency in using Sage 200 Manufacturing or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of international shipping processes and documentation.
- Familiarity with INCO terms and customs clearance procedures.
- Excellent communication skills for supplier and customer liaison.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
