Summary

Job Summary
Our client are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for quality systems, process improvement, and customer satisfaction in a busy and technically advanced setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
* Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations (e.g., ISO 9001)
* Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures and documentation
* Operate and calibrate measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs)
* Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare quality reports
* Collaborate with production teams to drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
* Participate in internal and external audits, supporting audit readiness

Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ Level 3 or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality-related discipline
* Proven experience in a quality technician or inspector role within manufacturing or engineering
* Familiarity with ISO 9001, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Comfortable working independently or within a multidisciplinary team
