GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Curriculum Team Leader in Plumbing to our public sector client based in Rotherham. The Curriculum Team Leader in Plumbing is a new and exciting role with responsibility for programs of study, classroom-based learners and day release apprenticeships. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate teacher with strong industry experience to build a 'Centre of Excellence'.


Main Duties of the Curriculum Team Leader:


* Coordinate and lead plumbing study and apprenticeship programmes
* Supervise staff and have some performance management responsibilities
* Deliver teaching and completing the relevant preparation and marking
* Set SMART targets to enable students to reach their potential
* Provide guidance to students both pre-course and whilst on-course


Role Requirements:


* An industry background in plumbing as well as experience delivering content to and assessing students
* An appropriate teaching qualification
* An assessment qualification A1/ V1/ CAVA, or willingness to obtain
* Ability to lead a team
* Ability to build good contacts with industry professionals
