Summary
We are working with an Outstanding Special Needs school in Islington, who are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant.
The school caters for students with Complex Needs at primary school age. Classes have mixed ability and students are working between 3-4 years on average behind where they should be.
The school is a short walk away from Hibury station. Great transport links.
Students will require 1:1 support and some support with personal care aspects.
The working hours are 08:45am- 3:15pm and requires candidates who are able to work on a full time basis.
What are the school looking for?
- A candidate who is committed with a passion for working with SEND
- Candidates who are comfortable with supporting personal care.
- Can travel to Islington and commit to 5 working days per week.
- Previous SEND and Complex Needs experience
- Have worked in a primary school previously
