Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team at a renowned restaurant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-quality culinary environment, supporting our chefs in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
-Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of the kitchen team.
-Ensure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep stations, are kept clean and organized.
-Handle waste disposal and maintain proper sanitation standards.
-Support the kitchen team with stock organization and deliveries.
-Adhere to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times.
Requirements:
-Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
-Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a busy environment.
-Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
-Good physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced kitchen.
-Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
-Due to the location, applicants must be able to drive and have access to their own transport.
