Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30PM, Term Time Only (part-time job shares will be considered)

Start Date: September 2025About the Role: The children, staff, and governors of The Newlands Federation are looking for a compassionate and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our nurturing team at Clandon Primary School. This is a temporary, funded position to initially last one year, but there is a possibility that the role will be extended beyond the year.In this vital role, you will work closely with a range of children across the primary phase, providing tailored support to help them thrive in a caring, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. What we’re looking for: We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who: • Is kind, patient, and empathetic, with a genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development
• Has experience (or a keen willingness to learn) in supporting children in an early years or primary school setting
• Can adapt to meet the individual needs of the child in a flexible and creative way
• Is a team player, with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with staff
