Summary

The Students' Union wish to appoint a Catering Supervisor to be based in our brand-new Café which is due to open in September 2025. This role will play a huge part in delivering our new services.

About the role

You will take responsibility for the supervision of all aspects of the café, ensuring the customer experience is optimised whilst high standards are achieved in the provision of food and beverage services. You will be responsible for opening and closing the department, producing EOD financial reports and following the FSMS, HACCAP, H&S, and all other policies and procedures.

You will also support in staff training and maintaining high standards at all times.

As Catering Supervisor, you will be expected to lead the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring a high standard of food quality, customer service, and team performance. Your role will be to deliver a smooth, efficient service while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Further information

This is a full time role, working 36.5 hours per week during term time only (33 weeks per year), predominantly Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend and evening work.
