A supportive and high-achieving secondary school in Telford is looking for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, paid role is an excellent opportunity for those considering teacher training or a career in education, offering valuable classroom experience in a secondary school setting. Core subject degrees are also welcome!

What You'll Do:

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 3 and 4

  
  

• Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with additional learning needs

  
  

• Assist with subject-specific work to help students grasp key concepts and improve engagement

  
  

• Aid teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and tracking student progress

  
  

• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment

  
  

  What We're Looking For:

  • A graduate with a 2:1 or above (Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science or other core subjects)

    
    

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about supporting students in their learning journey

    
    

  • Experience with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is an advantage

    
    

  • Full-time availability from September 2025 to July 2026
