A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Shrewsbury is looking for enthusiastic and driven graduates to join their team as Graduate Academic Mentors, starting in September 2025. This full-time, paid role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while supporting students across a variety of subjects and helping them reach their full potential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide one-on-one or small group academic support to students across a range of subjects


    • Help students improve their understanding, boost engagement, and build confidence in their learning


    • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom setup, and educational resources


    • Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment


    • Gain valuable insight into teaching strategies and best practices in education


      Who We’re Looking For:

      • Graduates (or soon-to-be graduates) with a 2:1 or higher


      • Passionate about education and motivated by a desire to make a difference


      • Strong interest in supporting students across a variety of subjects


      • Reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable


      • Prior experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
