Summary

About the role:

Horsham District Council is looking for a Health and Wellbeing Administrator to join our established Health and Wellbeing team to support the delivery of the Wellbeing Service across the Horsham District. The Wellbeing Service is part of a county-wide programme in West Sussex to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent ill-health within our local communities. The service provides information, advice and signposts local people to services for help and support.

As Health and Wellbeing Administrator, you will act as the first point of contact to the service welcoming people at our Wellbeing Hub reception in Horsham town centre and dealing with enquiries via telephone and email. You will be responsible for organising appointments, making and receiving referrals, updating the website and providing administration support to the Wellbeing Team and associated projects.

About you:

To succeed as a Health and Wellbeing Administrator, you’ll need to be a self-motivated professional with exceptional communication, IT, and organisational skills, coupled with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll play a key role in supporting the team with administrative tasks, demonstrating the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and contribute effectively within a team environment.

You will be based in the Health and Wellbeing Hub in Swan Walk (Horsham Town Centre). Hybrid working is not applicable for this role.
