Are you confident and outgoing? At Dimensions, we're looking for female support workers who aren't afraid to get stuck in and have fun, while providing life-changing support. This is an ideal role for someone young at heart, with a warm personality and a natural ability to connect with others.

You'll be supporting a young woman in her 20s, who lives independently in her own flat. She's an active person who loves to get out and about whether it's swimming, bowling, trampolining, or spending time at the beach. You'll need to be able to swim confidently, as it's one of her favourite hobbies. When she's at home, she enjoys arts and crafts, watching movies, listening to music, and singing along to nursery rhymes.

This young woman has epilepsy and receives emergency medication when necessary - full specialist training will be provided. She can also experience behaviours of distress; you'll receive comprehensive Positive Behaviour Support training to help you manage these moments with confidence and compassion. While she doesn't always use words to communicate, she uses other ways to express herself and understands much of what's said to her, you'll use visual aids to build a trusting relationship with her.

Day-to-day, your role will include prompting and supporting her personal care, prepare meals safely, support medication administration (including her epilepsy medication), and accompany her out. Being a confident driver is essential, as you'll drive the person, we support vehicle to hobbies and appointments.
