We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join The Grimsby Institute in the role of Programme Leader Performing Arts.
Are you a passionate Performing Arts Tutor with a love for education? Do you possess an understanding of performing arts rehearsal and performance processes that infuse magic and uniqueness into every moment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are an innovative institute dedicated to cultivating creativity and artistic excellence. We deliver exciting performing arts qualifications and wish to develop these across either acting, dance or singing specialisms. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, adaptable and willing to apply themselves to a range of situations that the job may present these include but are not limited to teaching and planning and preparing performances for shows internally and externally. As one of our creative specialists, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of performers in the region and empowering our students to transform their creative ambitions into reality

About the person

The successful candidate will have a background in performance and a deep understanding of the performing arts process preferably with experience in teaching however, it is not essential as we can train you to teach! It is preferred if you hold a degree in a relevant subject area. You must however, have proven experience in leading performance and delivering high performance standards.
