Crynodeb
This post is available immediately to provide site specific services to the local population and surrounding areas. Out-patient duties and SACT delivery will be at both sites. The post holder will also contribute to the AOS service at Mount Vernon. The post holder will be joining dynamic teams of surgeons and oncologists with a significant national research reputation in both tumour sites.
This is a substantive appointment, based predominantly at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, Middlesex with commitments at the Lister Hospital. The post comprises 10 programmed activities (PAs) and an on-call commitment.
• Maintenance of high-quality patient centered care
• Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service
• Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
• Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
• Delivery and development of SACT administration
• Active participation in continuing medical education
• Active participation in trial research activities
