Summary
Operations Support Team Member
£24,570 - £27,000 plus benefits (Work Level 6C)
Manchester city centre - office-based
We're looking for an ambitious individual to join us in our Operations Support team and provide high quality admin support to colleagues across the General Council (GC) Team. This role will play an integral part in making sure that the GC team is organised, and always gets the outstanding service that they need. If you have great organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail, then we can offer you the chance to gain valuable experience across our business in this fast-paced and varied role.
What you'll do
* Work through tasks received from shared mailboxes, making sure you're always on top of your work and delivering against agreed timescales
* Support colleagues with a wide range of admin tasks, such as; uploading papers for the various boards and committees, carrying out property searches, issuing and receiving title deeds, editing documents, and mail merges
* Process legal documents and contracts
* Make sure the signing and sealing process is carried out in line with both Co-op and statutory processes
* Raise and receipt purchase orders on the appropriate Co-op system (Coupa)
* Process expenses and manage hotel and travel bookings for the team
* Update and maintain databases relating to contracts and deeds
* Build positive relationships with a range of colleagues across the business
This role would suit people who have
* Previous experience in an admin role, ideally within a professional services environment
* A high level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Experience of working towards set deadlines
* Good general IT skills, with experience of using programmes in the Microsoft Office 365 suite (such as Word, Excel, Outlook)
* The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
* Adaptability, with a willingness to learn and proactively develop your skills and knowledge
the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; you can collaborate with colleagues at different levels across the business
