We have a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Responsive Care Officer to join our successful Domiciliary Care Service at Corsers Court, Perton on a part-time, fixed-term basis, to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services. This position will also be considered as a secondment opportunity for internal applicants.
The Role
As a Responsive Care Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. As the primary point of contact during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, you will support and monitor care delivery, ensuring that the dignity, rights, and independence of our clients are upheld. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to fostering a safe and welcoming environment. This role is a 28 hour per week position:
Week 1 – Tuesday and Wednesday 07:00-14:30; Thursday and Friday 14:30-22:00
Week 2 – Tuesday and Wednesday 07:00-14:30; Saturday and Sunday 14:30-22:00

Skills and experience required:
NVQ3 in care or equivalent (desirable)
Experience of delivering good customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Is approachable, honest and trustworthy. Seeks to encourage colleagues, service users and stakeholders.
Offers discretion and confidentiality at all times
Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables
Earns others’ trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions
Ability to handle pressure and meeting tight deadlines
This role will work on a rota basis which will include weekends and bank holidays. A current full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for business use is essential. Care Plus Domiciliary Care is a CQC-regulated service and complies with all guidelines. Due to the nature of the role, an Enhanced DBS check will be required.
