We are on the lookout for a Part-Time Assembly Operator to join our vibrant team in Eastfield, North Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities:
As an Assembly Operator, you will be at the heart of our production process. Your responsibilities will include:
Adhering to standardised manufacturing processes and performing basic maintenance tasks.
Contributing to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensuring the quality of operations by following established standards.
Identifying and reporting risks related to health, safety, quality, and environmental issues to the Team Leader.
Reporting incidents and near misses, while following the escalation process for any safety or quality deviations.
Processing orders accurately and efficiently.
Gaining knowledge of our products and systems.
Fitting electrical components and wiring with precision.
Assembling power distribution units using hand and pneumatic tools.
Performing additional duties as directed by the line manager.
What We’re Looking For:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
An ability to work efficiently and accurately, consistently meeting deadlines.
A practical aptitude in science or engineering.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
High flexibility and dependability.
A motivated mindset, eagerness to learn, and a strong attendance record.
Shift Patterns:
Monday to Friday, 4-hour shifts:
- 7:55 AM – 11:55 AM
- 11:55 AM – 4:25 PM
Location:
Our facility is conveniently located just an 18-minute walk from Seamer train station, making your commute a breeze!
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: £12.12 - £13.37
Contract Type: Temporary
