Care Team Leader (Nights)
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Pay: £15.00 per hour / £30,030 base salary per annum / up to £32,760 with paid breaks
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 38.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 8:00pm – 8:00am (Two-week rolling rota)

Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun

Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri

About the Role
P4 Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected care provider for an experienced Care Team Leader (Nights) to join the team at a luxury, purpose-built care home in Chorley. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and compassionate leader to take responsibility for night-time operations and ensure the highest standards of care are delivered.

In this role, you will lead the night care team, offer guidance and supervision, manage medication administration, and act as the senior point of contact during overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and support the care team throughout the night

Coordinate handovers and ensure effective communication across teams

Manage rotas and maintain adequate staffing and skill mix

Provide leadership through regular night-time team meetings

Oversee medication handling and administration in line with protocols

Act as the senior point of contact in the absence of the management team

What We’re Looking For
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

Strong experience in elderly or dementia care

Proven leadership experience in a similar role

Confident in supervising and supporting staff teams

Knowledge of medication management and care home standards
