Work Experience Co-ordinator Higher Education

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Vacancy

As a Work Experience Coordinator, you will be bringing together the requirements of multiple stakeholders. Local employers, Newcastle College University Centre Students, Vocational Curriculum Areas and the NCUC Management Team.

Students require real world experience of work projects to develop their work readiness skills across a range of vocational levels. Employers require an input to shape the skills graduates will have. Curriculum Areas require support in sourcing and coordinating opportunities for students.

NCUC are looking for a motivated, organised and collaborative self-starter, who will be the glue between the stakeholders, meeting all parties and delivering and monitoring progress of industry opportunities for students.

The role will cover all faculties and Curriculum Areas but will start working primarily the Creative Industries (Art and Design, Digital Arts, Music and Performing Arts and Digital Technologies) and a background or industry links in this area would be beneficial.

If you feel that you have the skills and abilities required for this role we would like to hear from you.
