Liaise with departmental/ward managers and external stakeholders on worksin their areas and building relationships in those areas as point of contact. Works generally unsupervised to undertake the majority of tasks and repair work using own judgement to effect repairs/solutions within capability. Assist other staff within the department at the request of the team leader. Work within team supporting and covering others to meet KPI targets and the needs of the service. Understand the interrelationship between all trades and team members. Interprets and follows the appropriate regulations at all times. Immediately notifies the Team Leader of any deviation from the regulations. To liaise with team leader regarding plant or equipment failures and torequest the supply of goods and/or services as necessary. Actively participate in operation of planned preventative maintenanceprogrammes. Actively participate in all continuous improvement programs. To follow planned maintenance schedules and if required raise follow on work requests. Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections and recordsupporting documentation l as necessary. Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities at therequest of the team leader
