We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at the Wellbeing Retreat in Bridgend. This innovative out-of-hours service provides short-term support to people experiencing emotional distress or needing a safe, supportive space.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing person-centred support and de-escalation for individuals in emotional crisis
Creating a warm, welcoming, and safe environment
Supporting people to develop positive coping strategies and onward referrals
You will be part of a small, dedicated team working in the evenings and at weekends, helping individuals to feel heard, respected, and empowered.
This role is ideal for someone with:
Experience in mental health, support work, or similar
Strong communication and active listening skills
A calm, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach
Working Pattern: Evening and weekend shifts (5pm – 10pm) on a four-week rolling rota covering Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
