Summary
Mould Ability is an established specialist-engineering company. With expertise in the composites sector, we manufacture GRP products for a variety of industries across the U.K. We are looking for a GRP Finisher to join our experienced finishing team, who are responsible for ensuring our products are finished to our required standards.
Responsibilities:
· Hand-finishing fibreglass components
· Use of air/ powered cutting tools
· Use of different graded finishing papers and polishing equipment
· Identification of lamination defects and carrying out repairs
· Assembly
· Maintain a safe and tidy work environment
Requirements
· Experience as a GRP finisher is desirable
· Good team worker
· Reliable with good organisational skills
· Ability to work under pressure and on multiple concurrent projects
· Positive ‘can do’ attitude
· Able to work independently
While previous experience in a similar role is desirable, we will also consider candidates with a transferable skill set, who do not meet the required level of experience.
Mould Ability is situated in Chesterfield, easily accessible from junction 29A or junction 30 on the M1.
This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our Chesterfield site.
Basic hours are 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 13:00 Friday.
Overtime is available at an enhanced rate.
