Summary

Role Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our client's responsive repairs and planned works team. The ideal candidate will have a background in social housing maintenance, with the ability to deliver high-quality joinery in both occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of joinery work including repairs, replacements, and installations in social housing properties

• Respond to both planned maintenance and reactive repair jobs

• Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards and relevant regulations

• Communicate professionally with tenants, housing officers, and site management

• Travel to various sites across the Middlesbrough, primarily within housing estates and community schemes

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Joiner, ideally within a social housing or public sector setting

• Ability to carry out a broad range of joinery tasks, including door hanging, skirting, kitchen fitting, and window repairs

• Previous supervisory experience on maintenance or refurbishment projects

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong communication and customer service skills, especially when working in occupied homes

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in team settings
