Summary
Are you an experienced Painter & Decorator based in and surrounding areas of the Salford area of Greater Manchester? Do you have a clean Driving Licence? We can offer you a competitive salary £28,392 per year?
Please note, you may be required to work further afield as the contract demands. All travel times will be considered as part of working hours

Your role
Undertaking full painting and decorating duties
Identify and rectify defects in paintwork
Prepare all internal walls and ceilings to receive paint or paper
Paint internal walls and ceilings with emulsion paints following the correct preparation
Burn off old paintwork from windows, doors, fascia and soffits
Paint new timber, prior to going to site
Stain external hardwood doors and windows
Decorate walls and ceilings using patterned anaglypta wall covering
Treat mould and condensation problems
Liaise with customers when arranging and carrying out work, having full regard to their needs and working from written and verbal instructions, including drawings, diagrams, sketches, calculations using measuring equipment
What We Need from You.
Must have completed a recognised Apprenticeship and Qualification for the role (NVQ L2 or L3)
Certificates will be required. Competent in all aspects of painting/decorating and with experience of maintenance work on domestic properties, including high rise blocks for general repairs and refurbishments
A background of general painting work and be able to work in confined spaces
Experience working in social housing A current driving licence is essential
Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness and their own tools
