Summary
Job Outline:
Our Catering Service is looking for a Senior Cook to join the hardworking and dedicated team at East Park Primary School. As a primary school cook, you will ensure that a high quality, customer focused catering service is delivered to pupils, staff and visitors to the school. You will be required to produce meals for a minimum of 500 pupils daily. In addition to providing the service on a day to day basis, you will be involved in providing theme days and other events to promote and develop the service.
Key Requirements:
A good knowledge and understanding of food hygiene and food allergy legislation are essential to this role, as are administrative skills to record information on our kitchen management software and previous experience of supervising staff. Although the post is attached to East Park Primary School, as an employee of Horizon Academy Trust, you may be required to work at other schools within the MAT.Shortlisting will take place week commencing 4th August 2025.
