Our client is a well-established, Ofsted-rated Outstanding nursery, known for its warm, nurturing atmosphere and commitment to excellence in early years education. Set in a beautiful, thoughtfully designed space with free-flow rooms and expansive gardens, the nursery offers a calm, nature-inspired setting where children can learn, grow, and explore.
They are now seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead their dedicated team and uphold the exceptional standards that have earned them their outstanding reputation. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, ideal for a confident leader who is motivated by quality, collaboration, and child-centred care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent (essential)
- Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or strong Deputy ready to step up
- Experience preparing for and leading successful Ofsted inspections
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and best practice in early years care
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A calm, inclusive, and empowering management style
- A genuine passion for creating a warm, engaging, and enriching environment for children and staff

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the nursery team with clarity, compassion, and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements, including Ofsted standards
- Inspire a culture of excellence in early years education and care
- Maintain strong relationships with children, families, staff, and the wider community
- Support team development through mentoring, supervision, and performance management
- Oversee nursery operations including rotas, occupancy, budgets, and health & safety
- Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections with confidence and experience
