Summary

Sport Aberdeen is recruiting a motivated and energetic Lead Project Activator to spearhead initiatives, including our Primary School Football Programme and supporting Aberdeen’s health & wellbeing agenda. This role blends leadership with hands-on delivery, focusing on engaging children and young people through inclusive sport and physical activity experiences. As part of our Active Schools team, you'll support children and young people be active in their local community by creating grassroot and pathways to club sport opportunities, alongside using activities for positive change.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Leading and delivering primary school football festivals on Saturday mornings.
• Supporting and managing volunteers to support with the delivery of Primary School Football.
• Planning and overseeing operational delivery, with a focus on supporting children and young people to live healthy lifestyles.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in coaching or organising sport sessions for children, ideally within educational or community settings.
• Strong knowledge of inclusive sport delivery and working with priority groups.
• Excellent communication, team leadership, and organisational skills.
• A dynamic approach to building participation and breaking down barriers in sport and physical activity.
