Summary
Personal Assistant required for a 12-year-old child who lives in the Camelford area.
They have Autism and would like someone who they can build up a positive relationship with and provide them with some 1:1 support. at home and out in the community
They love being outdoors, enjoy sensory activities and swimming.
Rate of pay £12.60 per hour.
5 hours per week are available, although this is very flexible.
Some weekend and school holiday availability will be required.
Car driver preferred but not essential.
Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check; this administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
