Summary

Permanent, 40 hours per week

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Site Manager to be responsible for supporting the site management team and help monitor the quality of work to ensure compliance and quality standards. You will ensure that the delivery of service levels are met in a professional manner and support the Site Manager in planning, managing and controlling the day-to-day operations on site with a view to complete work within time and budget. With a good understanding of health and safety, you will ensure that internal and external stakeholders adhere to our policies and procedures. You’ll liaise with NHBC, Building Control, Highways and Water Authority Inspectors to ensure technical compliance and programme.

With good knowledge of the building / construction industry, including NHBC and building regulations, you’ll have experience of supervising operatives and will be accustomed to meeting deadlines, whilst remaining in budget. Holding an NVQ level 6 in Site Management or equivalent training, you’ll also hold a CSCS card or affiliate CSCS, SMSTS / SSSTS certificate and have good knowledge of Health and Safety in the construction industry.
