Duties

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational environment.
• Educate students on mathematical concepts, ensuring they grasp fundamental principles and can apply them in practical situations.
• Manage classroom behaviour through effective behaviour management strategies, promoting respect and cooperation among students.
• Provide additional support to students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods accordingly.
• Assess student progress regularly through tests, assignments, and observations, providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events to contribute to the school community.
Experience
• Previous experience teaching mathematics at various educational levels is highly desirable but not required.
• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
• Familiarity with special education practices and techniques is advantageous.
• A background in teaching physical education or preschool education would be beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong proofreading skills are necessary for preparing instructional materials and assessments.
• A genuine passion for educating children and helping them achieve their academic goals is crucial.
