Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for the automotive industry. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Due to new business and growth we need to enhance our tam quickly, despite this being initially temporary for the right person it could lead to a permanent position.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilise power tools and hand tools to carry out repairs and replacements on various vehicle components.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during repairs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance service quality.
Do numerous vehicle checks when vehicles have been sold by the dealership.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
Proficient in using power tools and hand tools essential for vehicle repair.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
