Summary
To provide a service for the Photography department covering imaging clinics across the trust. This includes studio Photography, Dermoscopic imaging, Ophthalmic imaging scans using specialised equipment including OCT/FFA/ICG/ Slit lamp/Colour Fundus, Undertake 3D imaging, Cleft lip, and palate/plastics services/Non accidental injuries/Video work. To support in providing a professional cost effective, efficient clinical and nonclinical photographic service using digital technologies to service the Trusts three sites including outreach. To ensure a high technical standard to aid in clinical assessment, patient records, teaching, research, and publication purposes. To perform administrative and clerical tasks as necessary for the efficiency of the service. Accountable to department head Part of a team of professionals, whom provide a full range of clinical and non-clinical services to consultants and patients. Contributes to the provision of a high quality comprehensive photographic service, without direct supervision. Maintain an up to date Continuous Professional Development (CPD) portfolio to satisfy the requirement of the Health Professions Council and Institute of Medical Illustrators. This is a mandatory requirement to maintain continued State Registration. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
