Summary
Your main responsibility is to lead the team in providing exceptional care to service users while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. You will maintain good practice through audits, establish therapeutic relationships, and monitor service users' physical, mental, and emotional states. As a professional, you will participate in the organisation's appraisal process, align personal development with its objectives, and ensure the safe administration of medicines. It is also essential to respect different approaches within the team, maintain confidentiality, and conduct yourself professionally towards service users, colleagues, and other agencies. You will also lead and participate in joint work with experts and agencies. This role requires educating and supporting pre/post-registration students, staff, carers, and service users. You will deliver teaching sessions and presentations to develop the care team according to the organisation's goals and objectives within the appraisal process. Additionally, you will provide staff induction, mentorship, appraisal, and clinical supervision to professional colleagues where necessary.
