A highly reputably privately owned contractor is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a regional contractor with over one hundred years' experience as one of the leading house builders in the southwest.
About the role of Health & Safety Manager
Specialising in new build homes across the southwest ranging from twelve units to one hundred units. This Health & safety Manager opportunity is a fantastic chance for a Senior H&S Advisor looking to step up or an experienced H&S Manager looking to build and develop a division.
Responsibilities for Health & Safety Manager
- Head up all Health & Safety across the business including push for continuous development and improvement for health & Safety within the business across all functions.
- Proactively train, teach and lead regarding correct protocol, business standards & management systems.
- Represent the business from a health & safety standpoint with stakeholders, clients & subcontractors.
Requirements for Health & Safety Manager
- Preferably a certified member of IOSH
- NEBOOSH Diploma or level 6 in Occupational Health & Safety
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Health & Safety legislation's and changes.
- Effective communication and IT Skills
