We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and committed individual to work within this dedicated gynaecology specialist service that supports local and national specialist care.

You should be a motivated individual with excellent communication skills to provide a high quality service to our patients.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic person with a proven background, knowledge, skills and experience within the following areas acute gynaecology, general gynaecology, colposcopy, outpatient hysteroscopy and urogynaecology service. This post will include working within early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology and also supporting our 2ww referrals and suspected cancer patient's during their diagnostic pathway.

The clinical nurse specialist will work within the following areas, Early Pregnancy, Acute Gynaecology, General Gynaecology, Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy, Urogynaecology, vulval service, community, Emergency Gynaecology services.

The role will be providing high quality care and support to patients accessing these services with the support of the extended nurse specialist team for gynaecology.

The post holder will ensure that patients receive the necessary care and treatment to enable progress along an agreed pathway of care,working towards and within NHS targets. This will be achieved through the application of specialist knowledge, skills and practic

The post holder will work closely with the Lead Nurse and lead consultant working alongside the gynaecology and urology nursing team providing cross cover as required for the gynaecology and urology service.

You should be a forward thinking individual who is able to work independently in support of the women attending the clinics.
