Summary
In our supportive and welcoming team you will work with and be guided by experienced members of our nursery and develop your skills and understanding of working with young children. You will work in partnership with the nursery manager and colleagues to ensure a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment for children.
• Be a member of a team providing high quality childcare & provision.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children, ensure environment is safe and follow nursery hygiene & safety procedures.
• Taking care of children’s personal needs.
• Help to contribute to and implement a planned curriculum which helps meet objectives.
• Make relevant observation of children’s learning & development
• To report matters of concern to Nursery manage/Management team.
• Read, discuss, understand and implement nursery policies.
• Be committed to the principles of equality and opportunity for all.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times in line with nursery & trust policies
• Encourage parental involvement.
• Carry out planned activities under guidance
• Adopt a committed response to balance their professional studies & work based practice.
