Do you have experience using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)?Are you passionate about supporting children with autism in specialist education?Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a specialist autism school in Solihull to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Specialist Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in SEND, psychology, care, or behaviour support who are looking to develop a long-term career in education.
Key Responsibilities:Support pupils using ABA strategies and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)Deliver structured support on a 1:1 and small group basis within a High Dependency Unit (HDU)Work closely with teachers, therapists, and the senior leadership teamTake part in regular CPD and development reviews to progress within the roleBuild strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleaguesMaintain accurate records and support individual learning plans
