Property Surveyor (Hybrid) needed in Cambridge, £23.31ph PAYE - Reference: 5272664

Full time but open to discussion of part time or flexible working

Day-to-day estate management of commercial land and property portfolio.

2. The negotiation of terms for new leases, licences and easements including rent reviews, lease renewals, deeds of variation and restructuring of leases etc.

3. Acquisition and disposal of land and property as determined by the relevant Committees, including negotiations in respect of compulsory purchase and compensation claims.

4. Inspection, survey and preparation of reports, valuations and plans of houses and flats under the 1985 Housing Right-to-Buy provisions, including appeals submissions to the DV and Equity Share transactions

5. The carrying out other valuations and appraisals on behalf of the Department and the other Departments at the instruction of relevant Committees.

6. To maintain property and valuation records.

7. To assist in the web and paper based advertising and publishing of the available properties.

8. To manage designated cost centres including, where appropriate, the calculation and management of service charges and assist in the preparation, control and monitoring of income and expenditure budgets.

9. To maintain up-to-date and accurate timesheets in accordance with the systems being operated by the department from time to time.

10. To ensure confidentiality at all times in all matters relating to any work or communication within the Department and the client.

11. To be responsible for identifying your personal training and development needs in discussion with your line manager. To participate in any training and development activities identified and agreed as relevant to your personal development and/or your development in the job.

12. Carry out any other duties as required by the post holder’s line manager from time to time in accordance with the grading of the post.

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
