Join us for our Clinical Specialist (Band 6) Recruitment Event on Saturday, 16 August 2025, focused on band 6 roles within the Emergency and Crisis Pathwayat NLFT. This pathway includes key services such as the Mental Health Crisis Assessment Serviceand the Health Based Place of Safety. We're looking for experienced healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering urgent and specialist mental health care
We have 2 roles we are recruiting to:
1)
• The Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service (MHCAS) model is an innovative crisis assessment model which integrates emergency liaison, alongside a bespoke mental health crisis assessment unit supporting patients experiencing a mental health crisis in a trauma informed therapeutic setting. The service was recognised and received the award for Excellence in Mental Health at the NHS Parliamentary awards in 2022.
• This role is for registered Nurses, Social Workers, Occupation Therapists or Psychiatrists.
2)
• The Health Based Place of Safety (HBPoS) provides high quality assessment and care for people experiencing an acute mental health crisis, who are detained under a Section 136 or Section 135(1). This is your opportunity to meet our clinical teams, learn about the roles available at our Highgate Campus, and undertake recruitment assessments to fast-track your application to join one of the most supportive and innovative teams in mental health care.This role is only for qualified, registered and experienced Nurses.
