Summary
Muhammad Qadeed trading as Rozy Naz Beds is a Birmingham-based sole trader furniture manufacturing business specialising in producing high-quality beds and sofa beds. We are committed to delivering exceptional furniture products to our customers, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team.
Main duties include:
• Upholster and finish a variety of furniture items, including beds and sofa beds, according to established design and quality standards.
• Select and cut upholstery materials, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimal waste.
• Attach fabric or leather covers to furniture frames, ensuring a smooth and wrinkle-free appearance.
• Inspect and repair any imperfections or defects in the upholstery, making necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure the final products meet design specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including properly storing materials and tools.
Skills and Education:
• Proven one year of experience as an Upholsterer in the furniture industry.
• Proficiency in upholstery techniques, materials, and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in a workshop environment.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle various materials and perform repetitive tasks.
