We have opportunities in –
Surgical Wards – Ashill & Cringleford – Trauma & Ortho, Dilham – Thoracic & General Surgery, Docking – Vascular Surgery, Edgefield – Urology.
We are proud of the range of specialisms we offer as planned care at NNUH. Our Surgical Wards are supported by dedicated clinical education specialists as well as a Support Team who provide a ‘wrap around’ service that focus on retention and pastoral care.
Theatres Complex – ENT theatres & PACU (Post Anaesthetic Care Unit)
Main theatres are committed to delivering outstanding care to our patients throughout their perioperative journey. You’ll need a high level of organisation and the ability to be dynamic with the ever-changing workload.
Outpatients - Fracture Clinic & Dermatology
We have opportunities in two Outpatient areas, Dermatology and Fracture Clinic. Fracture Clinic also covers, Pre-op Assessment Clinic and Plaster Room, in Dermatology you will work alongside colleagues supporting both general and surgical clinics which include biopsies and excisions.
Pre-Op Assessment –
POA is a dynamic, nurse-led team supporting the Elective Surgery pathway. The service supports day case & in-patient admission pathways, seeing around 400 patients per week
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you can expect no two days to be the same. You will support patients through their treatment, sharing their experiences and making a real difference in their journey back to health as part of a tight-knit team of healthcare professionals.
