Summary
Installation Technician
Overview: We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Installation Technicians to support our desktop hardware deployment projects. This role requires foundational technical skills and a proactive approach to on-site installation and configuration tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unbox and install desktop hardware at designated workstations
- Connect peripherals including monitors, keyboards, mice, and other accessories
- Manage power connections and perform power-on self-tests to verify basic functionality
- Initiate automated system builds and execute scripted post-login configurations, as defined by project parameters
- Physically connect network cables to specified ports and verify connectivity
- Participate in desk move assignments and support helpdesk operations such as logging technical service calls
- Maintain peripheral consumables and provide light-touch technical upkeep as required
