Duties and Responsibilities
1. To set out furniture and equipment for all activities held within the Springfield Centre, Park Rd Nursery and St. Christopher’s Church, and to clear away / reset after the event.
2. To carry out routine maintenance as directed by the Premises Manager (e.g. changing electric light bulbs and other small maintenance tasks).
3. To carry out any emergency small cleaning tasks as required within the Church and Centres.
4. To carry out routine carpet cleaning every 3 months, or as required.
5. Responsible for waste collection - To put out general waste bins weekly, paper and card recycling bins for the fortnightly collection.
6. To be responsible for checking the cleanliness of the kitchens weekly and ensuring they are stocked with paper towels and cleaning products.
7. To be responsible for keeping the grounds safe and clear of rubbish: litter pick daily or as required.
8. To clean the external ground floor windows as required, at least once annually.
9. To practise and promote good Health & Safety practices.

15 hours per week (3 hours per day in the morning).
Some overtime available.
