Automotive Service Advisor – Main Dealer Opportunity
Southampton | Mon–Fri with 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings
Basic up to £30,000 | OTE £45,000
Full-Time | Permanent
Are you a customer-focused automotive professional ready for your next move?
Want a role with no weekends, solid earning potential, and the chance to work with a reputable main dealer?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading main dealer in the Southampton area for a dedicated and professional Service Advisor to join their team.
What You’ll Do:
• Be the first point of contact for service customers – both face-to-face and over the phone
• Book in vehicles for servicing and repairs
• Provide clear updates on work progress, timescales, and costs
• Liaise closely with workshop staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer experience
• Upsell service plans, accessories, and additional products where appropriate
✅ What You’ll Need:
• Previous experience in a Service Advisor role (main dealer background preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine interest in the automotive industry
• Kerridge/CDK experience is a bonus, but not essential
What’s On Offer:
• Basic salary up to £30,000
• On-target earnings up to £45,000
• Monday to Friday only – 8:00am to 6:00pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8-12
• 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays (plus Long Service Leave)
• Dedicated staff parking
• Friendly, supportive dealership environment with progression potential
