Summary
MadiganGill are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a client based in Midsomer Norton on a permanent basis starting ASAP.
Previous experience within a Groundworks based role would be advantageous.
Salary: - Negotiable dependant upon experience
As a key member of the team the successful applicant will be Assisting Senior members of the team with tasks such as the following:-
- Liaising with the client to identify their needs.
- Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour.
- Submitting regular budget reports.
- Preparing tender and contract documents.
- Assigning work to subcontractors.
- Valuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing payments.
- Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards.
- Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour and helping site to stay within their budgets.
- Ensuring that clients get value for their money.
- Submitting regular budget reports.
- Following building regulations and health and safety.
- Evaluate contracts upon receipt of tender.
Pay Rate to be be agreed and discussed at interview - Will depend upon experience
Payment options include CIS.
