Summary
Fabricator / Welder - Permanent Position
Location: Aberdeenshire (commutable from Newburgh and surrounding areas)
Hours: 39 hours per week (with regular overtime paid at 1.5x)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We are working on behalf of a well-established engineering company to recruit a time-served Fabricator / Welder for a permanent opportunity based in the Aberdeenshire area. The successful candidate will join a modern and well-equipped workshop environment known for its high-quality fabrication work and support for staff development.
This role offers varied and rewarding work across both welding and fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:-
Fabrication and welding of components using detailed fabrication engineering drawings

MIG and TIG welding
-
Use of general fabrication workshop machinery

Working with aluminium and stainless steel materials

Maintaining high standards of quality and safety across all work

Time-served in fabrication/welding

Proven experience reading and interpreting engineering fabrication drawings

Familiarity with aluminium and stainless steel fabrication

Previous MIG and TIG welding experience (coding desirable)

Strong awareness of workshop safety procedures
